I was in a band with some friends, 2011-2013? One of those friends being a close brother of mine, who played left-handed guitar for the band (originally being a left-handed bass player),named Chance, who recently passed away this past May. the band was first called, "The Shit Yeah's", we preformed ,named as that for one show, that being mine and the drummer bday party (wasnt really conjoined, his bday was a few days early , it was really my party, i gave him a shoutout, he didnt appreciate it) but anyways we then played our 2nd show that year for a St. pattys day nu-metal hxc teen fest. performing as Worst Summer, we had no merch, we opened the show and then left after the 2nd band played, we basically disbanded after that , i remember the drummer had recorded some demo songs that we had but nothing was really done with them at that point in time, later that year Chance invited a timid northern punk folk artist, "Everyone Except Me" to come down and play a show in his grandparents backyard, (google that folk shit) among a few other close friends , opening up before her. WS opened up first(LOL just like last time) for the humble show, being the only full electric rock/surf/punk/weirdo band. The warm day started with our cryptic and powerful tidals waves of pure youthful fresh early 20's faux-radiohead jingles, that subtly melted all ideas of conformity and human slavery, and started a small, less than 20 person event , something not chaotic mindlessly, but placed precisely and laid down gently, and we were the only band playing in the toolshed. all in all it was a fun time, and it was the last time "Worst Summer" would have played with all the members alive, technically, the music files below you are a 2015 reunion jam between our dearly beloved Chance on guitar and myself on drums and vocals, us practicing without the other 2 members. As far as i know of , this is the last "musical" recording of my friend Chance, Rest in Peace Brother, iam guna feed those homeless people <3
